Year 13 Biology students carried out some fieldwork in Cabopino. This involved surveying the plants that live on the dunes and seeing how the numbers and types of plants vary with their distance from the sea. In the process of carrying out this work they learned about the techniques used by ecologists to investigate the factors that influence the distribution and abundance of organisms of various kinds.
