We are incredibly proud of our students for stepping forward to take part in the NABSS ‘Learning Without Borders’ speech competition. By entering, they demonstrated curiosity, confidence, and a willingness to think beyond the classroom, qualities that truly define global learners. This exciting opportunity invited students from Upper Key Stage 2, Secondary, and Post-16 to share their ideas through a powerful 3–5 minute speech, reflecting on how learning can connect people, cultures, and ideas across boundaries.
Participants recorded their speeches following simple video guidelines, keeping the focus firmly on their voice and message. With fantastic prizes on offer; including €100 for each winning student and €300 for each winning school; this competition provided a chance not only to be heard, but to be celebrated.
Selected winners are even invited to present at the NABSS Conference in Sitges on 6 March 2026, either in person or virtually. Well done to all who have entered, we are proud to announce the initial school winners:
- Upper KS2 winner: Kendra
- Runner-up: Valeria
- Secondary winner: Inaya
- Runner-up: Maria
- KS5 winner: Elina
- Runner-up: William
It was a tough decision for panel of judges, and we would like to also congratulate the following students for their effort:
- Year 6: Diana
- Secondary: Shana, Nicole, Heng, Valeria, Eva, Phoenix and Maissa
