As part of Oscar’s half marathon fundraising campaign for children with Type One diabetes, Mr Willis challenged him to raise an extra 1000€ in one week in exchange for shaving his head in solidarity.
A message from Oscar:
After completing the half marathon this weekend, I want to thank Mr Sutcliffe, Daniel, William, Sammy, Helena, and my mum for running, and especially Mr Edwards for running the entire distance with me, Miss Heike for supporting, and Mr Willis, Seb, and Felix for the iconic haircut moment.
I also want to thank EIC parent Amelie @marbellaprints for providing the T-shirts, Dudley for helping me with the posters, and the incredible EIC community for over 40 donations; I’m so grateful! My aim was to raise 500€ for Life for a Child. I’m absolutely delighted to say I ended up raising 2326€ for children with Type One diabetes.
