Well Ghouls and Boys, What a Fang-tastic Halloween Day

Halloween arrived early in Primary with classrooms turned into ghoulish caves of terror! Huge thanks to families for donating decorations—they truly sparked the Halloween spirit. Our youngest learners adored the themed mud kitchen, brewing potions, scooping pumpkins, and creating fun items—learning through play at its best.
The PTA decorated the Primary playground for our Freaky Friday event. Head Students led the annual WAKE UP, SPOOK UP, with House Captains running diverse activities—a fantastic end to the half term. Massive thanks to parents for incredible costumes, make-up, and creativity, making the day a resounding success.

Children enjoyed a teacher surprise: led by Miss Alexia, staff showcased dance moves, modelling courage and fun in our Year of Courage!

Miss Harriet

Well ghouls and boys, what a fang-tastic day! The PTA raises a broomstick in monster-sized thanks to parents and students for making this Halloween one to die for!

Your spook-tacular support conjured a Haunted Tunnel of Terror (brave teachers screamed for effect!), endless candy, Best Fancy Dress prizes per class—students slayed from Early Years to Sixth Form! We bought new decorations across Primary, Secondary, and Sixth Form; 35 hidden skull prizes; vouchers for Secondary Scary Story winners; fresh face paints for mini-monsters; an Early Years/Reception party (more treat than trick); and two themed mud kitchens for lower infants.

From cobwebs to candy floss, your contributions turned plans ghoulish to gleaming. Thanks to Monster Parents who set up and starred in the Tunnel—we couldn’t have done it without you!

Have a wonderful half term, your bewitchingly busy PTA.
