Over the past week, our Sixth Form students had the fantastic opportunity to attend two major university fairs, each offering valuable insights into future higher education pathways.
On Friday, 17th October, students attended the British Council Universities Fair, where they met representatives from a wide range of prestigious UK institutions, including the University of Cambridge, the University of Exeter, the University of Edinburgh, City University, Cardiff University, the University of Sussex, and many others. This event provided a wonderful opportunity for students to explore degree options, entry requirements, and student life in the UK, helping them make more informed choices about their future studies.
Just a few days later, on Tuesday, 21st October, students visited a Spanish University Fair, featuring a variety of local universities from Málaga, as well as national institutions from across Spain. This fair offered an excellent opportunity for students to learn about the higher education opportunities available in Spain and to compare different study pathways both at home and abroad.
Both events gave our Sixth Formers valuable exposure to the broad range of options available to them after school, sparking inspiration and helping them take the next steps in planning their academic futures. For staff, it was a chance to catch up with some old friends—university representatives who have visited EIC or run workshops for our students in the past. Many thanks to Emily (Cambridge), Sam (Exeter), and Kevin (Sussex).
