On Tuesday, Year 3 had a fantastic trip to The Food Room, Guadalmina! The children were warmly welcomed by the lovely Mariola and her team, who guided them through making cheese and sausage rolls in puff pastry, fresh pasta dough (rolled into tagliatelle!)and delicious chocolate chip banana bread.
Not only did they enjoy cooking, but they also learnt valuable lessons about food hygiene, preparation and teamwork in the kitchen. Best of all, they got to taste and share the dishes they created, as well as Mariola's amazing lasagna!
The day finished with a well-earned play at San Pedro Park before heading back to school, full of smiles (and full tummies!).
