Following the Year 13 farewell breakfast, with most of the school in attendance, the Year 13 versus Teachers football match was fiercely contested, showcasing superb football skills and even goals coming from unlikely heroes, such as Drama student Paula, well done Paula!
The match began by honouring Mr Alex, who, alongside his many roles in the PE Department, has coached football at the EIC for over 25 years and is retiring this year. His football skills showed no signs of waning, as he confidently scored a penalty!
The final score was uncertain, but the Year 13s claimed victory, a result we’ll graciously accept, especially as it was their final match at school. All that remains is for you to excel in your upcoming exams. The entire EIC community wishes you the very best of success!
