Year 3 visited The Food Room where the amazing Mariola taught them about kitchen hygiene, healthy eating, and the joy of cooking.
The children made puff pastry cheese and sausage rolls, created fresh pasta dough which they shaped into tagliatelle using a machine, and worked carefully and fairly as a team to bake a delicious banana and chocolate chip cake.
They loved the hands-on experience, learning valuable skills as they prepared their dishes. Best of all, they enjoyed tasting their creations and agreed everything was delicious. The trip was a fun, educational, and tasty experience they will remember fondly!
