We welcomed representatives Alicia & Evanina from the Debra Butterfly Skin Charity to our school. They shared the daily challenges faced by individuals, especially children, living with Butterfly Skin condition. Our students were deeply moved by the engaging assemblies held for both Primary and Secondary students, which included heart-wrenching video diaries of young people battling this condition.
The sessions sparked curiosity and empathy, demonstrated by thoughtful questions from our students. This visit opened our eyes to the realities of those affected and emphasised the critical need for support.
