Year 3 are currently learning about Forces and last week in Science, we carried out an experiment to see how different surfaces affected the motion of a toy car.
We tried out cotton wool, sand, plain wood, felt and cardboard. We made sure we kept all the factors the same except for the surface, then we would know which one created the most friction.
