There has been one key word in Primary Music this year - feeling. We have focused on how music can make us feel different emotions and each week students have identified and communicated their emotions with great clarity. In the first Primary Sound Garden of the school year, seven performers took us through the full range of emotions and paved the way for any up and coming musicians to get up and do the same.
Through these informal and welcoming Sound Garden sessions, I am hugely looking forward to helping the students experience how music, and in particular performing music, is something to be enjoyed and not feared.
