After successfully completing the French KS3 course, a group of students chose to continue with French at the IGCSE level. Over the last two years, they have further developed their language skills and worked tirelessly to approach their final examination with confidence.
Last Thursday, during their final French lesson, as I had done at the end of Year 9, I handed a certificate to each one of them, matching them with the French equivalent of a Mr. Men and Little Miss character. The certificates were varied and added a humorous touch to the closure of the two-year course. It has been a pleasure to work with them, and I hope that what they have learned will be useful to them in the future.
I look forward to working with some of these students at the next stage of their educational path: A-Level French, and I wish the others good luck in their future endeavours.
Au revoir et merci!
