On 12th November 2022, the Spanish National Cross Country Team Championships took place in Atapuerca, Burgos; one of the most world-wide recognized cross-country race courses.
One of our students, Mario, was selected by the Trops-Cueva de Nerja Athletics Club to form a team of six for this event.
The final outcome of this race was that their team won the event, proclaiming themselves Spanish national champions out of the best 51 teams in Spain and almost 400 participants that were able to qualify for the race. Congratulations to Mario, all of your dedication and talent is starting to pay off!
