Congratulations to our amazing ex-student Laura who successfully reached the summit of Africa’s highest point, Mount Kilimanjaro. Scaling to the dizzying heights of 5,895 metres above sea level in anyone's book is a feat of mental strength and endurance, especially when considering the debilitating symptoms of altitude sickness Laura and her team would have experienced. Laura reached the summit in just six days raising awareness and a total of €3,174 for the Meningitis Research Foundation. The EIC is hugely proud of Laura and her colossal achievement. Also, fantastic to see that the old EIC PE top made it up the summit too!
