Today we came together as a school to pay our respects to Queen Elizabeth ll. Those of you from British backgrounds may have referred to her as “Our Queen” but for many around the world she was simply known as “The Queen.” What we reflect upon today is a moment in history. In June, we gathered as a school to celebrate the Queen’s platinum jubilee - 70 years on the throne. 70 years…it is highly unlikely that we will ever see a British monarch in our lifetime reign for as long, or as successfully.
