Strength, stamina, determination and enthusiasm were just some of the traits displayed at this year's Foundation Stage Sports Day; and that was just the parents! It was so lovely to be able to come together again as a group and enjoy this event. The children competed against the parents in all of the activities and I will honestly remember the screams of delight for a long time to come. Thank you to everyone who took part, you made it a magical event!
We had certainly built up an appetite after all of the fun from our sports activities and the whole of Foundation Stage and their families came together for our final Munch and Mingle of the year. We were also treated to some super performances from the children who showcased their singing and dancing skills beautifully.
To round off a truly epic morning, all students were celebrated with special certificates being awarded to them. Our Reception students even received a little “graduation scroll” as they leave Foundation Stage and look forward to taking on the challenge of Key Stage 1. What a morning!
