The Year 11 Students are Beginning to Think About Their Future

The Year 11 students are beginning to think about their future and, in particular, their Sixth Form subject choices. To help them with this, they were given a short talk on the various subjects which are new at A level; Mr Howarth & Head Student, Amiya, explained the International Project Qualification (IPQ), an exciting qualification which allows the students to research and write a dissertation on a question of their own choice, while Mr Edwards talked about A level Economics, Dr Sutcliffe about Sociology and Mr Hickman about Politics. During their lessons the Year 11s were encouraged to find out about the A levels in their existing subjects as they make these important decisions.
