Sixth Form First Aid Course

Sixth Form First Aid Course

As part of the Sixth Form PE course, all students are invited to undertake the Emergency First Response (First Aid Course) as an option within the PE timetable. This involves students learning and practising the key skills of CPR, First Aid and how to effectively respond to an emergency.

Sixteen students have been honing their theoretical knowledge and practical skills for the last four weeks until their exam sessions took place. We are delighted to congratulate them all on attaining their LIFESAVER CARDS! Particular congratulations to Julia, Mia & Daniella who attained an outstanding 100%!

This First Aid course is offered via the PE Department as part of preparing students for University life. Similarly, the National Pool Lifeguard (NPLQ) Course will again be on offer in June & July. Please see mrgibson@eic.edu for further details.

Many thanks to Anne Halpenny for her smooth delivery, running and administration of the entire program. We hope to see Anne again in January for course number 3, sign up now while there are still spaces!
