Year 5 have been enjoying their new topic - 'Extreme Earth'. They were set the challenge to make a building that would withstand an Earthquake. The only materials that they were given were: a packet of marsh mellows and a packet of dry spaghetti. They had 10 minutes to create their designs, before they had the chance to evaluate them.
They were then given a further five minutes to improve their structures. We clearly have some budding architects who managed to have final designs that survived our very own earthquake in class!
