Year 4 eagerly set out to visit the Mayan Monkey Chocolate Factory in Mijas. In the classroom we have been learning about the Aztecs and in Science about changing states - both of which link in beautifully with the process of chocolate making.
Everyone made three chocolate bars, choosing their flavours and ingredients. After a quick snack stop in the plaza, we collected our chocolate and headed back down the hill.
The children were exceptionally well behaved throughout the day and made us very proud.
