Year 12 and Year 13 students took part in the COBIS Virtual University Fair. Over the course of the morning they chose to attend a series of half hour presentations from a wide range of universities from around the world. Some of the presentations focused on general advice, such as how to write a personal statement, others focused on particular universities, while others gave an overview of university applications and life in Holland, the US, Italy and many others.
The list of attending universities included Bocconi University (Italy), Concordia University (Montreal, Canada), Creighton University (USA), Durham University, Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, Imperial College London, Indiana University, Leiden University, Trinity College Dublin, Universidad de Navarra, University of Bath , University of Bristol, University of Glasgow, University of Surrey, University of Sussex, University of Warwick and many more.
The event helped to get the Year 12 students thinking about what and where they would like to study in the future, while the Year 13s were able to fine tune their plans, as their applications continue to go in over the next few weeks and months.
