U.K. Qualified teachers with at least 2 years’ experience in the following areas:

Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher

Required for September 2024 - KS2 Teacher

We are looking for an incredible Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher with experience of teaching in this phase who has a proven track record of teaching innovative and outstanding lessons. The successful candidates should be creative and enthusiastic and have a passion for teaching and making a difference to students’ lives. We are looking for individuals who would be willing to make significant contributions to the wider life of the school, including running extra-curricular activities. 

This is an opportunity to join a committed and forward-thinking team, who work closely with one another to create opportunities to be dynamic and diverse in their teaching. We are looking for teachers qualified to teach in either Key Stage 2 or across Primary, and with a minimum preferable 2 years experience of teaching the UK National Curriculum either in the UK or internationally.

Primary Teaching Assistant

The English International College Primary Department is looking for a teaching assistant who can inspire, motivate and support students, so that they are able to achieve their potential.

REQUIRED FOR SEPTEMBER 2024 - Teaching Assistant

We are seeking to recruit an individual who can assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction of SLT and class teachers. You should be confident to teach groups within the classroom and take an active role in weekly planning meetings. The successful candidate should also be able to ensure that the pupils they support are able to engage in learning and stay on task during the lesson or activity, so that they can become independent learners, and should show and use initiative, taking a forward-thinking approach to all tasks.

We are looking for teaching assistants who hold a qualification and who have experience in supporting phonics groups, emergent writing and the use of CPA apparatus in Mathematics.

You must be willing to work as part of a team and to also carry out administrative duties in addition to support in the classroom.

Secondary - Humanities Teacher

We are looking for a talented and driven Key Stage 3 specialist who has a proven track record of teaching innovative and outstanding lessons. The successful candidate should be creative and enthusiastic and have a passion for teaching and making a difference to students' lives. We are looking for individuals who would be willing to make significant contributions to the wider life of the school, including running extra-curricular activities.

This is an opportunity to join a forward thinking department with a long track record of success at both IGCSE and A Level. You will be responsible for delivering History and Geography lessons in Years 7 to 9, and experience of teaching other subjects at this level would be beneficial. There is also the opportunity for History teaching at IGCSE level, so candidates with this experience will be at an advantage.

Professional Gardener/Maintenance - Holder of a Spanish recognised 33% Disability Certificate

Are you a bilingual (Spanish/English) professional with a passion for gardening and attention to detail? If so, we invite you to apply for the position of a professional gardener at EIC. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with all gardening and maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the school.
  • Knowledge of gardening, pruning, fumigating and plants
  • Meticulous, with attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively.
