Primary Teaching Assistant

The English International College Primary Department is looking for a Teaching Assistant who can inspire, motivate and support students, so that they are able to achieve their potential.

We are seeking to recruit an individual who can assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction of the SLT and class teachers. You should be confident to teach groups within the classroom and take an active role in weekly planning meetings. The successful candidate should also be able to ensure that the pupils they support are able to engage in learning and stay on task during the lesson or activity, so that they can become independent learners. The candidate should show and use initiative, taking a forward-thinking approach to all tasks.

We are looking for teaching assistants who hold a qualification and who have experience in supporting phonics groups, emergent writing and the use of CPA apparatus in Mathematics.
You must be willing to work as part of a team and to also carry out administrative duties in addition to support in the classroom.

Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 Teachers for September 2023

We are looking for incredible Primary Teachers with experience in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2, who have a proven track record of teaching innovative and outstanding lessons. The successful candidates should be creative and enthusiastic and have a passion for teaching and making a difference to student's lives. We are looking for individuals who would be willing to make significant contributions to the wider life of the school, including running extra-curricular activities. 

This is an opportunity to join a committed and forward-thinking team, who work closely with one another to create opportunities to be dynamic and diverse in their teaching. We are looking for teachers qualified to teach in either Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, or both, and with a minimum preferable 2 years experience of teaching the UK National Curriculum. 

Key Stage 1 applicants should also have substantial experience in a DFE recognised Phonics programme, solid knowledge of the stages of emergent writing from the Foundation Stage and experience in early maths mastery using the CPA approach.

TEACHER OF SCIENCE - With Chemistry Specialism

The school seeks to appoint a fully qualified, dynamic, innovative, enthusiastic science teacher. We are looking for someone to teach all science subjects at KS3 (ages 11-14), with the ability to offer Chemistry at both IGCSE (15-16) & A-level (17-18).

The successful applicant will be joining a supportive, friendly, successful department with a record of excellence in teaching and learning across all areas of science. They will be expected to offer extra-curricular activities, including delivering STEM to young learners and to participate in the wider life of the school.

Computing Teacher

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic Computing Teacher to join our successful school. This is offered as a long term permanent appointment and would involve teaching Computing in the Secondary school up to and including A Level.

You will be required to be extremely motivated, have high professional standards and a proven track record of success at GCSE and A level. You will be responsible for delivering consistently outstanding practice and working as a team player to enhance teaching and learning across the department.

Expressive Arts Teacher

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic Expressive Arts Teacher to join our successful school. This post would involve support for Fine Art, Drama and/or Music teaching in the Secondary school at KS3.

School productions are a cornerstone of our Expressive Arts department, so experience of set design and construction would be advantageous.

You will be required to be extremely motivated, have high professional standards and a proven track record of success. You will be responsible for delivering consistently outstanding practice and working as a team player to enhance teaching and learning across the department.
