On the 27th & 28th of September EIC once again hosted the Interschool Swimming Gala. The other schools taking part were St.Anthony's, Sotogrande (first day only), Swans (second day only) and Aloha College. It soon became apparent that the EIC students, who had put a lot of work into training both during and after school in the preceding weeks, were about to reap the rewards of their labours. It only remained to be seen if they could beat their opponents by a greater margin than last year.
On the first day races were held for Years 8 to 13. Mr. Izatt, so beloved of his statistics (with good reason), has furnished the following table of results.

The only slight on the proceedings is that, sadly, the following week, Mr. Izatt had to undergo major surgery to remove his smile.
