SIXTH FORM XMAS DINNER Picaro's Restaurant, Marbella. December 15th 2001.

After the stress of the preceding two nights (Sixth Form Show - a huge success) it was great to relax with good food and good company to celebrate yet another milestone in the life of an EIC sixthformer. This social gathering is traditional in our yearly calendar of events and the Sixth Form looked dazzling, as usual, in their splendid array of outfits. Impeccably organised by the President of the Sixth Form, Jenna Buck, everything went according to plan, even the seating arrangements! And, an added bonus, we were met on the street to make sure we didn't get lost - a thoughtful touch! Our menus were printed individually so that we could remember what we ordered (preventing chaos at the restaurant as there were over 60 of us) and although most arrived before 8.30, the event did not wind down 'til about midnight. The students continued their night out in Puerto Banus and although we were invited to join them, I think most of us 'oldies' simply lacked the staying power, but thank you anyway. Perhaps a member of the Sixth Form should write the next chapter, as I was home tucked up in bed by 1.30am. It was a most enjoyable evening so thank you Sixth Form for organising it (with Mr Morris's help) and Happy New Year to everyone. Good luck with all your exams and those university applications!
