| YEAR 9 TRIP TO CAZORLA - 2001 |
The campsite was in a protected area in a forest clearing. There were nine wooden huts. The huts were split into two rooms for six to eight people. The food was really good, for breakfast we had bread or cereal with juice or hot chocolate every day. Lunch and dinner, however, was different each day. During the daytime we did many different activities, all kinds of different things, like river scrambling, fencing, horseriding, abseiling, rock climbing, orienteering, archery and kayaking. Each activity was about two hours long and we always had a lot of fun. The monitors took care of us totally, there were 4 or 5 of them all around 20 or 22 years old. Every night we had a disco which was really fun. We taught the class from Sevilla and the Teneriffians how to dance our style and they showed us their ways. They were all well mannered, funny and polite. We all had a lot of fun and enjoyed ourselves. The Year 9 students would like to thank Mr. Hogan, Ms. Fairchild and Mr. Hickman for their time and supervision. Oli & Chelsea |
